Compared with other filter cartridges, is PES filter cartridge really better?

It depends on where you use it. Compared with ordinary polypropylene filter cartridges, PES does have higher filtration accuracy and stronger chemical resistance. Especially in scenarios where microorganisms and bacteria below 0.2 microns are required to be filtered, it is almost the first choice. But if you just want to filter some mud and impurities, it is a bit overkill. So not everyone has to buy PES filter cartridges, but only the right people can use them.

Is its price ridiculously expensive?

To be honest, PES filter cartridges are indeed a little more expensive than ordinary filter cartridges. But the stability and safety it can bring are incomparable to other cheap products. Especially in some industries that cannot have a little pollution, it is better to spend more money to buy a reliable filter cartridge than to bear the consequences. So the price of this thing is not based on the surface, but on what kind of guarantee you need.

What should I pay attention to when buying?

First, you have to confirm whether the medium you are filtering is suitable for PES. Some solvents may react with PES, so they are not suitable for use. 

Second, it depends on the filtration accuracy. For example, if you want 0.22 microns, don't buy 1 micron. 

Third, pay attention to the interface type. Different devices may use different interfaces. Don't buy it and can't install it.

Will it be troublesome to use PES filter elements?

In fact, it is not troublesome at all. You can use it after installation, and almost no additional maintenance is required. But you have to pay attention to a few points, such as the filter element cannot be burned empty and cannot exceed its maximum operating pressure and temperature. Use it according to the instructions, which is not only safe, but also prolongs its life. In general, it is much simpler than you think.

When should I change the filter element?

The most obvious signal is that the flow rate becomes smaller, indicating that the filter element is about to be blocked. In addition, if you have used it for several months, even if it looks okay, it is recommended to replace it. After all, it is not permanently durable. Especially in some key processes, it is very necessary to replace it on a regular basis for safety reasons.
